Of the 16 different vodkas, including the Polish
vodkas Belvedere and Ultimat, a select few are kept chilled for
the sophisticated vodka martini drinkers amongst us.
The 5 premium cognacs kept by the head barman with
a great deal of pride include the much-revered Louis XIII, which
at £60 a measure is a delight to be enjoyed at a leisurely
pace.
The impressive wine list covers a range of continents
but restaurant goers will be most taken by the focus on New Zealand
wines, a testament to the years spent there by Picture House owner,
Nicholas Armitage. There is a wine to complement each dish and accommodate
every palate, from the crispy full fruit of a Sauvignon Blanc to the complex heady fullness of our Argentinian Malbec.
The Picture House staff are all deeply enthusiastic
about everything they serve and will always be more than happy to
discuss the items on the list or share their personal favourites.
